Resorts World Las Vegas

Our Stay at Resorts World Las Vegas

As part of our ongoing goal to experience a variety of hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, we chose to spend three nights at the Hilton at Resorts World Las Vegas during spring break. This review is based entirely on our experience, with the aim of providing a fair and balanced perspective for others considering a stay.

Booking and Check-In Experience

We booked the most affordable room option available. Prior to arrival, we received a link for digital check-in, which was straightforward and user-friendly. The process promised the convenience of using our phone as a digital room key. However, when we arrived, the digital key did not work, and we had to wait in line at the front desk to receive physical key cards. While the staff was polite and helpful, the issue seemed common among other guests as well. It is worth noting that the digital check-in system may still be in need of improvement.

Room Details and View

Rooms on the Hilton side of the resort feature screen fencing on the windows, which support the large exterior LED display. While this is part of the building’s unique design, it results in a partially obstructed view. Guests who prioritize a full view of the Strip may want to consider rooms in other areas of the resort. Aside from that, the room itself was clean and well-maintained with standard amenities you would expect from a Hilton-branded hotel.

Dining at Kusa Nori

On our first evening, we dined at Kusa Nori, one of Resorts World’s signature Japanese restaurants. The atmosphere was elegant and thoughtfully decorated. Service was attentive, and the food quality was very good overall.

We started with sashimi and a sushi roll, both fresh and well-prepared. We also ordered the Miso Lobster Bisque as a shared dish. Presentation was visually impressive. The lobster was tempura-fried and served in the shell over a bowl of miso-based soup with shiitake mushrooms and fried tofu. The flavor leaned heavily toward traditional miso soup. It was enjoyable, though the portion size felt small for a shared item. We appreciated the creative fusion but might try other dishes next time.

Fitness Center

The next morning, we visited the fitness center, which stood out as one of the better hotel gyms we have experienced in Las Vegas. It was clean, spacious, and had a wide variety of equipment to suit most workout routines. There was an attendant available to assist guests. Additional amenities such as towels, still and sparkling water, and fruit were complimentary and appreciated.

Pool Area

Following our workout, we spent some time at the main pool complex. It includes three pools, offering enough space for guests to relax even when it is busy. During our visit, the area had a calm and mixed crowd, including families. Despite it being a popular time, we had no difficulty finding seating.

For those seeking a quieter atmosphere, Resorts World offers the Athena Infinity Ultra Pool, an adults-only area featuring an infinity pool with views of the Las Vegas Strip. It is a good option if you are looking to relax in a more peaceful, child-free setting.

Casino Experience

We also explored the casino, which features a clean, modern design. On the evening we visited, which was a Tuesday, the casino was relatively quiet with plenty of open tables and machines. The high-limit room was also mostly empty. While we did not win big, it was a pleasant and low-pressure gaming experience. According to other guests we spoke with, the casino tends to be more active during large events and conventions.

Pros and Considerations

Pros

  • Clean and modern property throughout
  • Reasonably priced rooms for the quality offered
  • Convenient for convention-goers due to its location near the Las Vegas Convention Center and access to the Vegas Loop
  • High-quality fitness center and pool facilities
  • Variety of on-site dining options

Considerations

  • Digital check-in feature was not functional during our stay
  • Window views on the Hilton side are obstructed by exterior LED structures
  • Some restaurants in the food hall were closed at the time of our visit
  • Limited on-property activities compared to other large Strip resorts
  • North Strip location may require more walking or rideshare use to access popular attractions

Final Thoughts

Overall, our experience at the Hilton at Resorts World Las Vegas was a mix of strengths and a few drawbacks. While it may not have the same volume of entertainment and dining options as larger resorts, it offers a clean, modern, and relatively affordable place to stay on the Strip. It is especially convenient for those attending events at the nearby convention center.

This hotel is a solid option for travelers who value cleanliness, modern design, and convenience over central Strip location or extensive in-house entertainment.
